Hi there! I’m Kayla.
I’m a wife and mom of three beautiful young children and find simple joy in my creative outlet of making paper art.
It’s been a huge leap of faith for me to put my art out there, and I’m so grateful you made your way to my site.
Paper has been a love of mine for years. What began as a scrapbooking hobby, turned into creating greeting cards for friends and family, and most recently has developed into exploring the art of paper quilling.
Why the name “Pepa Papercrafts”
“Pepa” is a Spanish word for the small seeds in fruit. Think watermelon seeds. When my third child, my daughter, was born a week early at only 5 lbs she perfectly embodied the nickname Pepa and Pepita. Thus, it became a household word.
When I decided to start my little business, I thought about her and how she inspires me and how I’d like to inspire her. “Pepa” to me means things that are small, precious, joyful, delicate, and beautiful. And that’s what I try to create in my art.
